About

Hillary Einwick Design is a boutique residential design firm serving customers in Virginia and the Southeast. Hillary's creativity and passion for art and design have been an inherent part of her life for as long as she can remember. With strong influences from her grandmothers who both had an aesthetic eye, one a lover of antiques and all things Chinoiserie and the other a talented artist.

She studied Art and Business at the University of Richmond, before moving to New York to work in online marketing for J.Crew. She now resides in Virginia Beach, with her husband and two children. After renovating her own homes and helping several friends, Hillary formed Hillary Einwick Design. Her goal is to provide an approachable resource within the art and interior design space.

A lover of color and patterns, Hillary has a distinct eye to create spaces that layer graphic fabrics, natural textures, inviting art, traditional heirlooms and contemporary pieces. She loves to mix highs and lows to achieve a balance that's timeless and fresh while reflecting the client’s personality. Having two young kids at home, she knows a home should not only be beautiful but comfortable and livable.

In addition to interior design, Hillary has a passion for painting. Always creating as a child (and driving her parents crazy with the aftermath) she has relished the creative outlet as an adult. She loves to draw inspiration from colorful textiles, nature, travels and art history. The result is a deeply-layered, richly-textured, bold and colorful impressionistic style. Hillary's paintings can be found at Serena & Lily.
